Eid-ul-Fitr is the day which marks the end of the month of Ramadan. The Eid (festivity) ul-fitr (breaking the fast) literally does not only mean that it is the festivity for breaking the fast but as the holy prophet peace be upon him taught us, for the one who fasts during the month of Ramadan, there will be 2 moments of joy:
- When he will break his fast
- When he will meet his lord on the day of judgement (ref: Sahee Al-Bukhari)
