Eid Mubarak 2011 to the World

Eid-ul-Fitr is the day which marks the end of the month of Ramadan. The Eid (festivity) ul-fitr (breaking the fast) literally does not only mean that it is the festivity for breaking the fast but as the holy prophet peace be upon him taught us, for the one who fasts during the month of Ramadan, there will be 2 moments of joy:
  1. When he will break his fast
  2. When he will meet his lord on the day of judgement (ref: Sahee Al-Bukhari)

  • Eid swalaat ( Prayer)
  • Meeting with families and friends
  • Lunch at Parents / Grand Parents House
  • Relaxing Afternoon
  • Dining at Parents / Grand Parents House
Food served on the day of Eid-ul-fitr is mostly Bryani :)
